What is the Presidential Elections?

The presidential elections take place once every four years to prevent tyranny, or monarchy. Without the citizens voting their would be no president based on every persons opinion. The party affiliates play a large role in the priliminaries. They act like delegates in the Electoral College. There are two parties, the democrats and republicans.

Why is it Essential?

Without Presidential Elections there would be no democracy. The people are the ones who vote in Presidents. The people rule, they always have since the Delclaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation, which turned into the US Constitution.

What if..?

Without this government principle the people would not have as much influence in the United States as they should. All of the people in the government would be just appointed never voted on taking the democracy of the United States away.
